What does it mean to play "second fiddle"? In orchestral pieces of music, a second fiddle would play the supportive portions. In life, we recognize there are often times individuals need to be in a supportive role. It is important to appreciate everyone, including those who have a seemingly less visible part. God’s design for the church also includes supportive roles. Within Christianity, actions that cause our lives to be off-key from God's plan will derail the overall mission and good that can be accomplished by the Church.
